Fashion advertising in the United Kingdom.

The UK is the market we have the most clients in, and the one most European brands expand into first. It is also a market with its own habits: the highest returns culture in Europe, a customer who expects next day delivery, and a fashion press that still moves product. This is what we know about selling fashion in the UK, and the accounts we run there.

Fashion in United Kingdom

Short answer. Fundal Media runs paid acquisition, Klaviyo and Shopify conversion for fashion brands selling in the UK, both UK based brands and European brands expanding in. Published UK cases: Marame, a menswear and womenswear brand made in Portugal, at £200,000 a month with 38% returning customers; and a sustainable swimwear label launch that did £38,000 in week three on around £1,100 of ad spend. For the UK we plan for high return rates, free returns as standard, next day delivery expectations, Klarna and Apple Pay at checkout, and creative that works outside London as well as in it.

The UK fashion customer

She buys often, she buys on her phone, she expects it tomorrow and she expects to send it back for free if it does not fit. The UK has the highest fashion return rates in Europe, and an account that does not plan for that in its margin, its product page and its Klaviyo flows will look profitable in Ads Manager and lose money in Shopify. We build the fit and size block on the product page to reduce returns at the source, we treat free returns as a standard rather than a promotion, and we time the post purchase flow around the return window.

The UK is also a market where fashion press still works. A mention in the right title moves product and, increasingly, moves what AI assistants say about the brand. Two of the client brands on our home page were featured in Vogue and Harper's Bazaar, and it shows in both.

What changes in the ad account

Broad UK prospecting works well because the market is large and dense enough for the algorithm to find the customer from the creative alone. London is not the whole country: creative and offers that read as London editorial can underperform in the North and the Midlands, and we test both. Next day delivery and free returns belong in the ad copy, because the customer is checking for them. Klarna at checkout lifts conversion measurably on mid market brands and should be shown on the product page.

The accounts we run in the UK

Marame is a UK menswear and womenswear brand made in Portugal, taken over on its first collection after the founders had been running the ads themselves, and now at £200,000 a month with 38% of orders from returning customers. The UK sustainable swimwear label, under NDA, did £38,000 in its third week on around £1,100 of spend. Several more UK accounts are in the ledger, including £142,869 for July 2026 and a single day at £18,300.

Expanding into the UK from Europe

The UK is the first market most Danish, Dutch, German and Swedish brands expand into, and post Brexit it needs more than a translated store: duties handled at checkout so there is no surprise at the door, UK sizing, GBP pricing, a UK returns address, and delivery times that hold up against domestic competitors. The process is in launching a fashion brand in a new market and the service is international expansion.

Working with a Danish agency from the UK

Everything runs remotely. Calls every two weeks with Elias, a live dashboard, a written report every month, and the account inside your own Business Manager and Klaviyo. Most of our UK clients have never needed to meet us in person, and the ones who have, have done it in London.

Questions on this

Do you work with UK fashion brands?

Yes. The UK is our largest market by client count. Marame and the UK sustainable label launch are the published cases, with several more under NDA.

What is different about advertising fashion in the UK?

High return rates that have to be planned for, next day delivery as the baseline expectation, Klarna and Apple Pay at checkout, a fashion press that still moves product, and creative that works outside London.

Can you launch a European fashion brand into the UK?

Yes. Duties at checkout, UK sizing, GBP pricing, a UK returns address and competitive delivery are the basics, then a dedicated UK campaign with localised creative and six to eight weeks to prove it.
